Option 'E' --> Fixed Record Length. This option will set the length
for
fixed length records. If the scan file has records of fixed length
instead
of delimited by carriage return/line feed character sequences, this
option
can be used to enable QTGrep to scan such files. Files which may fit
this
catagory are files written by database programs or specialized
application
programs. Also, FORTRAN source files may be of fixed length, mimicking
the
80 character punched cards on which FORTRAN programs were originally
written.
Specifying a record length of zero will revert to records delimited by
the
current terminator character string.
The corresponding long option is: --fixed-record-length=NUM
